She also acted as a member of The Zebra Network (created
by C.E.E., for audiovisual relations between North-South);
She still realized, as a Co-Director, along with Cristina Amaral,
ABÁ (a short-length film – 4’5”, 1992, 16mm), about the African
religion and cosmogony.
She is a contributor member of the I.P.N. (Institut des Peuples
Noirs), created in 1990, in Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou,
Western Africa, at the P.N.U.D. (The United Nations).
She was the curator of showings and festivals of the Afro-Brazilian
Cinema, such as Culturas em Diálogos para Oikos Festival, when
Lisbon was the European Capital of Culture, in 1994; F.A.N.
(The International Black Arts Festival of Belo Horizonte), in 1995,
and The International Short-Length Film Festival of São Paulo,
in 1997.
Raquel Gerber has been a member of the Conselho da
Cinemateca Brasileira (The Brazilian Cinema Library Council),
from 1970 to March 2007.
